Internal layout: Finca Morna is a four bedroom, four bathroom home with a separate casita that includes a double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Step through the bougainvillea covered arches into Finca Morna and you’re in a tasteful space that blends a flavour of the past with a subtle, organic approach. The interior spaces flow into one another, from the large kitchen fitted with high-spec appliances through a separate dining room to the living room and another more intimate living area to the outdoor terraces.

Each room is filled with natural light thanks to skylights cleverly fitted in the roof. For comfortable year-round living, the main house has central heating as well as air conditioning. Word burning stoves in the living room and dining room keep Finca Morna even more warm and cosy in the cooler months. There’s also a wood burner in the casita. All bedrooms and bathrooms in the main home and casita use a muted palette combined with soothing textures and natural materials. Upstairs you have two terrace chill-out areas.

Outdoor layout: A covered outdoor terrace leads out onto the generous-sized pool set in a garden featuring fragrant orange, lemon and apricot trees, lavender, rosemary and bird of paradise flowers. Beyond, panoramic views of the Morna Valley give way to, not so far away, the sea.
