Description: Perched just above the sea, this sleek, modern villa with angular construction at Cala Tarida is on the frontline and will forever have an unobstructed view of the wide-open sea and the dramatic sunsets of the west coast of Ibiza. It was originally designed by Bruno Erpicum and recently underwent a major transformation by local interior and architectural studio Go +. Where its bright white exterior makes a statement as seen from the sea, the refurbishing of the interior brings natural textures, a warm color palette and the glow of natural wood. This home makes the most of the superb sea views, and sunsets from nearly every corner of the house, with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. At the same time light and shadows play across the interior throughout the day, a never-ending study of angles, showing off the best of this design.

In the evenings, the suffused warmth of fires in the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit cast a different light, while the infinity pool is perfect for personal reflection, and is a mirror image of the sky above on still days.

Indoor layout: This six-bedroom home is made for entertaining friends, with expansive lounging spaces and a dining area ready for a Mediterranean feast, with grand four-meter-high ceilings. The kitchen is sleek with warm tones and careful, homey lighting and seats eight at a table or for more casual dining, seats three at the kitchen island. Throughout the villa, details include designer furniture and multi-level lighting by Panzeri and Olev and for cool nights, a large fireplace in ivory-veined black Siena stone, which picks up the warmth of the beige limestone floors. Each bedroom has elements of natural materials, such as an oak headboard or stone tables, and has its own bath, with separate shower and toilet areas. The master bath has a soaking tub that looks out over the sea as well as its own private lounge area and a large, handsome dressing area.

Outdoor layout: The centerpiece of the outdoor space is the infinity heated pool and is a space perfect for watching the sea change colors throughout the day. It is seated into the squared-off terraza, all tiled in cream, and there are ample sun loungers with shaded areas and a chill-out sunken outdoor living space with a firepit, as well as a full dining table serviced by the outdoor kitchen, also in Siena stone, black veined with cream. Multiple terraces and different living spaces give guests plenty of room on the main outdoor level, while down below, accessed by stairs is a second terrace, with Balinese beds, an outdoor jacuzzi and a shaded gym space that has full sea views between the modern equipment. The sixth bedroom is located here as well, with an independent entrance. From this level, sea access is just at hand for a dip in the sea at any time.
