Key locations: San Antonio, Es Vedra National Park
Sunsets very much come with the territory, and the West coastline of the island offers numerous spectacular locations to enjoy them from. Natural parks, vineyards and most famously, ‘Es Vedra’. A large natural rock formation that the sun dips and arcs over each night before melting in to the Mediterranean. It is believed to be the second most magnetic point on Earth – behind the Bermuda Triangle – and the source of the island’s special energy. There are a few vantage points to observe it from, but the deserted pirate lookout tower, Torre de Savinar, is extra special.
San Antonio and its bay is the single largest locality in this area, but the homes just outside and dotted all along the coastline are some of the most desirable on the island due to their natural beautiful surroundings.
